Economies of Stupid II
- The Army Corp of Engineers did not build a levee system or sea walls to protect Galveston
- Congress did not budget for money to protect Galveston and reduced budget spending that year on projects deemed 'pork'
- 90% of the victims of this storm were White. Hundreds if not thousands of the victims were Women and Children.
Applying current theories of racism being used today retroactively, isn't it true that the Republican William McKinley hated White people so much he wanted them dead so he made this hurricane level Galveston.
It's amazing any you on the left can actually breathe!
Back in 1995, Chicago had a heat wave that killed 739 Chicagoans, I don't recall hearing about Clinton being at fault for those deaths. Oh yeah, Republicans don't go around blaming others for natural disasters. Most of them live in the world of Reality & Common Sense. The MSM is giving face time to the usual suspects that are backing the same agenda as the MSM. Everything on the Left since 2000 has been about the hatred of George Bush, anything he does, or does not do will eventually end up on a moveon.org talking points memo. The MSM will gladly make copies and hand them out to anyone who will listen. Thank God for the blogisphere, talk radio and FoxNews!
They claim to love the earth......smelling like the earth is no indication of love.
It is impossible to love the earth, if you hate the creator of the earth......wow that is a punduntry......sp,mine
They love charity......their hand in my pocket......taking to give to someone they need a vote from.
Oh they are left......I think God left something off that model......and when the going gets a little rough, they leave the weak, poor and disturbed behind, hightailing it to high ground, and start blaming Bush for not rescuing the ones they left behind, quicker.
"possibility that terrorists might hijack a plane in order to "commit suicide in a spectacular explosion." "
" al-Qaida could "seek to hijack a commercial jet and slam it into a U.S. landmark." The FAA was also warned in early 2001 that airport screeners weren't up to the task of detecting weapons that might be taken onto planes, the report says. "
' I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center'
"I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees."
-George W. Bush
"Republicans said Karl Rove, the White House deputy chief of staff and Mr. Bush's chief political adviser, was in charge of the [New Orleans] reconstruction effort."
