Hey Kerry and Fonda!

Re-Post after several requests were sent to me...

I had a lot of fun with this bumper sticker. I made a template for the 2004 Campaign to honor the Veterans who served in Viet Nam. It does not matter that Kerry was the candidate or the target of the message on the bumper sticker. The intent was to criticize anyone who uses his military experience for political gain and hides the true record of being awarded medals. It really does not make any difference that Kerry did not release his DD-214, though. The Swifites were extremely effective in making the fact that Kerry’s Purple Hearts were not won with honor. (For those that do not know what a DD-214 is, you need not reply to this post, but I’m sure I’ll get hate mail anyway).

I plan to make these stickers public and for sale the next time the Traveling Wall comes to Florida (Feb '06). The great thing about how these are made is that the VN Ribbon background and the text will act as the functioning layout. (I also am posting one without the VN Ribbon so you can see how it would look plain). I plan to make Unit Stickers that can be directly applied to the VN background for the Infantry, Airborne, Marines and lots of other units that served in Viet Nam. All proceeds, after cost of printing, will be donated to Veterans groups. When I went to the Traveling Wall a few months ago, there was a cry from Vets for anything Anti-Kerry or Anti-Fonda. So I plan to have both stickers available so any Vet can choose his unit and apply it to either a Kerry or Fonda bumper sticker. I posted the Kerry sticker, but I have made several with Fonda substituted for Kerry. (All content is copywritten and is not available for publication without permission from me)

Thanks, Veterans. We owe you and all Veterans unending gratitude for your service, honor and love of Country!

Comments:
Umm even the conservative washington post thinks this is stupid.

Funny how you have no problem bashing Kerry. Yet Bush 'the draft dodging cokehead' gets a pass.

Just sayin'

The Washington Post is Conservative? You must mean the Washington Times. Glad to see respect for the President is alive and well in cyberspace. And, in honoring the Vets who did not lie about their service in Viet Nam, yes, bashing Kerry is right and justified. None of the Vets I know lied about their service in any theater of operation, no matter what conflict or war they honorably served. I expected this kind of response. Thanks for making my prediction in my post come true! Try and have a nice day! Oh Yeah...Also noticed you did not say anything about Hanoi Fonda. You want to try and defend what she did? Thought not! Smile :)

yes, lying about your service is reprehensible. Oh, were you talking about John Kerry? How are his actions worse than Bush?

You have a total lack of sourcing on this site that makes it hard to take your arguments seriously. I realize my sources are often partisan but they are usually secondary sources and provide some backing for my claims.

Gentleman, gentleman...again, you have missed the point entirely. And could you stop going after the President for just a moment and focus on the issue. John Kerry, and this is fact, misrepresented the seriousness of the kind and type of injuries sustained in combat that allow someone to be awarded a Purple Heart. That is what the Vets want Kerry to admit...two scratches and a minor flesh wound on the leg is not worthy of being awarded such a hallowed distinction as a Purple Heart multiple times. The message reads, 'Show me your DD-214 and I'll show you mine' Let Kerry compare his record to that of other Vets whose physical sacrifices are chronicled that bear witness to wounds that were certainly more serious than minor scrapes - the first being one that required a band-aid. Also, what can't be defended is that knowing those wounds were of the most superficial nature, he insults the men who suffered worse wounds, and even death. This and only this is the point of the post. My references that you require from your response are the thousands of Vets who I saw; spoke to, heard give speeches last year at the Traveling Wall. My references are the thousands of families I know personally whose fathers served with honor. My references are the men I personally know who are missing arms, legs, eyes, and hearing from injuries suffered In Country for more than four months. My references are the children of families who lost a father in Viet Nam that I know personally. My references are the injuries my father sustained for the two Purple Hearts he was awarded and the lasting debilitating injuries he has suffered (He's carrying so much shrapnel in his body he sets of metal detectors at airports) My references are the men who actually served with Kerry and the reports they provided. Anyone who serves in combat is worthy of the highest praise a nation can bestow; and I’m not questioning his patriotism. Lots of people were wrong to go after Kerry for that. My point is to support the Vets with whom he served that questioned his use of dubious, and it can't be called anything but that, records of minor wounds for political gain. I was more injured on an ROTC course than what Kerry received. My Brother-In-Law tells the stories of men getting hit with shrapnel and never being awarded any medal and these were injuries that certainly did not require a band-aid to fix. The point of the Vets is that to use such a tactic to advance a position that you are a hawk on defense and worthy of being commander in chief is just not right. I don't care about his other insults to his fellow countrymen like throwing his medals on the steps of the Capitol, his meeting with NV diplomats. Now Kerry had every right to testify in front of Congress. I don’t care that he lied about atrocities, and he did lie, that is fact...all that is for others to discuss. I simply am supporting the Vets who were truly injured, the ones who died in combat and the ones who carry wounds no one can see who have never tried to profit from their experiences. For this, there is no refutation. There is no point you can make about what Kerry with his injuries that is honorable. Lash out all you want to about the President - the sacrifices veterans make allows you to do that, by the way! W is not the issue. I don't want to hear, 'at least Kerry went.' That is not the point. I know W did not go. But there were thousands of men who went and did not lie about their injuries. All Veterans, but Viet Nam Vets and Kerry's Swifites had a right to question a man who would lie about being injured as to his worthiness to be Commander In Chief. Go on and make your points about what Bush is, is not, did, and did not. But whatever you say, W is certainly no Kerry when it comes to the truth about his military record! Sleep well, boys. Again, the sacrifices Viet Nam Veterans like the Swifites and all other Veterans allow you to do just that.

This might help you:

http://www.regnery.com/regnery/040809_unfit.html

Regnery published this book. This is one of the most damning books I have ever read about any one person in history. It is absolutely devastating. The power of the book is derived from it sources – the actual men who served directly under Kerry and those on the periphery.

Of course, I was not in VN. After you read this, I think you’ll find it hard to believe JK’s injuries qualify for a Purple Heart. Technically, JK was ‘injured’ in a combat zone. But he was never wounded because of combat as you’ll find out in this book. I conceded that W was never in combat. Granted. However, W never came close to the kind of larceny used by JK in hijacking those awards. There is no honor in a man that would lie about combat wounds. It’s a disgrace to his unit and his country. Pile on this the two visits to North Viet Nam and his testimony of witnessed war atrocities, and what you have is not the kind of person who should be Commander in Chief of any armed force. Thank God he’s not.

The more I ready about this book the more sick it makes me. It was so obviously crafted to discredit and disparage Senator Kerry that I would be ashamed to even mention it in support of an argument. Republicans talk a lot of game about 'supporting the troops' but they are the first to attack them relentlessly when it suits their political needs. Absolutely despicable.

I made my last post in good faith that you might be open to reading one of several accounts of JK.

This is where we can disagree. If you want to continue to use sources like Mother Jones, then I'll use the words of men who were actually there, saw what happened and the actual documents that list the severity of two scratches and a scrape on the bum, plus the testimony to Congress and the visits to an enemy country. So let me use JK's own words and actions as evidence of him being unfit to command and you can continue to use Mother Jones, the Nation, etc. I apprecaite your comments.

3 injuries that require a) a band-aid b) another band-aid c) nothing.

You failed to read that I actually praised Kerry for being a Vet, any Vet - front line or in the rear with the gear. It was not until he used three superficial wounds as the basis for being awarded medals did he dishonor himself, his buddies and his unit. No Vet worth of his training and sense of duty to himself and his unit would ever put in for medals not deserved. It happens and some slip thorugh. In this case it looked like it happened threee times.

Thanks for your post. Keep Hope Alive!

He still has shrapnel in his leg! He was injured in combat in Vietnam but it just wasn't bad enough for you. Give me a break, anything to discredit a Democrat though. I see you're willing to discredit a decorated vet and lifelong civil servant while supporting a draft dodging, pampered, unaccomplished, corporate failure. Trying to pretend your arguments are consistent and well reasoned is laughable.

See the Fatwa piece for your comeuppance

You call that Comeuppance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. What color is the sky in your world?

The sky is always Optimistic Blue...a few patchy clouds of hope with widely scattered faith. The forecast is belief in all that is right in the world and that the United States, through the Divine Intercession of His Will, is the best country in the world. It's always a beautiful day in my world, even when faced with the threat of terror, disease, famine, economic chaos...that contra mundum, our way of life, culture, belief in limited gvt, self reliance, we shall prevail over those who seek to do us harm. Come to the light of the right. It's always a beautiful day in my neighborhood!

Neo I just added you to my blog roll

The City Troll

Wow. I mean WOW!

I can't believe these guys revere the scumbag and liar Kerry. Amazing.

What Kerry did with those purple hearts was a disgrace. That man had his eye on political gain from the git go. He's a disgrace. I thank God every day that he lost.

Oh! I forgot to say - I love you military men and women and I am proud of you.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA This is good! :)

The moonbats will love it!

Here's to our troops! Hurra! Bravo!

At least he had a dd214. you can't even prove that "Dumbya" even finished his service. So which is worse - LYING TO GET OUT OF YOUR OBLIGATION - or a dd214 that didn't differentiate a minor wound from a major one? Swift Boat cronies have been revealed to be a bunch of fucking liars anyway. Why would you still believe this crap?

Lying is worse...pandering is worse...and the use of language gets you an auto-dump from this site. But, I guess that is normal in Moscow West Madison, WI. but not on my site.

Adios Potty Mouth!
